Townian is a new html based browser game that pays you to play, the game has just come out of beta so no payment proofs so far, however, the game is actually so fun I would play it either way. It reminds me of RTS games like starcraft, warcraft, and age of empires. It most closely resembles age of empires, you build buildings and from these buildings you create troops or gather resources, you can build a wall and tower around your town to protect against attacks from other players. The amount of civilians in your town and the amount of taxes you set determines the gold you get per hour and this is how you earn on the site, you convert that gold into real cash that pays to paypal at a rate of $.00001 per 1 gold. This may not sound like a lot, but you can have as many towns as you want and each will produce gold hourly with no effort at all.

Once you have your town maxed out or a few towns that are decent or if you have a lot of referrals, then you may consider upgrading to premium. Premium members can cashout ANY resource not just gold and the cashout minimum is lowered to $2. You also get discounts on troops and increased referral earnings. Premium is $3/month.

I'd also like to add a few tips of my own.

The game starts you off with $1 in your account with a cashout at $5. Though this dollar is not really intended to help you get to cashout sooner, it's intended to give you a boost to build your town faster and thus gain resources faster which will help you cashout sooner than if you didn't use that dollar and built everything from scratch. You can buy resources from the "Premium" tab at the top.

The guide above says to set the taxes at 50 and while this is decent advice for someone just looking at the game for the first time, as you progress this becomes less and less realistic as long as you are still building. What I do is keep taxes set so that my gold per hour and my stone, wood, iron per hour are about the same since I am building up at the moment. If I were trying to cashout I would set the taxes higher to get more gold per hour and that 50 might be a bit more appropriate. Try changing the tax rate and then looking at your resources per hour and then changing it again until you are happy with the numbers.

Another somewhat confusing aspect for new players, even though they just added an in-game tooltip to help explain it is food. You get food per hour just like you do the other resources, but you also get a reduction in food production per hour for each civilian you have in your town. So for example if you had a town with 20 civilians and a grain mill that put out 50 units per hour, you would be getting 30 food per hour (50 -20=30). Another example is if you had 90 civilians and a mill that put out 80 units of food per hour, you would be getting 5 food per hour, which is the minimum.

Here's a pic of your resources. The number in the brackets for population is your maximum and you can increase it by upgrading your Huts. If you hover over a resource it will show you the max you can hold, which you can increase by upgrading your warehouse or granary respectively and it also shows your resources per hour.

This will probably make no sense at all until you try out the game a bit and become more familiar with it, but these few things took me a few days to realize and get right so hope it helps you guys too.

The downside: There are adf.ly links that come up every now and then on the site, but it really isn't a big deal.

How Can I Earn Money

I think we've all asked ourselves this at some point, how can I earn money online, I know it has been a dream of mine for quite sometime. A while back I lost my job when the economy started to tank, not that my job was that great to begin with, but I started looking for other ways to find out how I can earn money. I hated the idea of giving another couple years of my life to make someone else money to watch everything go down the drain.

So I bought a couple of vending machines and started a small business in an attempt to do something on my own. Needless to say that didn't go as well as I had hoped, not that I lost money, but it was a bigger pain than I imagined. Since then I have sold the machines and have been looking for new ways to make money.

I have returned to the idea of how can I earn money online and I have been going full steam ahead. This blog is basically a chronicle of the successful programs I have found. Since the hardest part in determining how I can make money online is finding the sites that actually pay from the scams.

Many sites online offer some type of membership for you to attempt to make money with them, this is where the risk comes into play. This is also the purpose of the blog, to help minimize this risk. Another problem some people have is they don't even have the $15 or $20 dollars that some of these sites require for membership. To help with this problem I'll be differentiating each site by those that require some type of investment with those that require no investment. You can use the funds you get from one program and test out another.

I am currently testing out several sites that I am awaiting to see if they are going to end up being lucrative or not, since I would never post anything that I was not sure paid. Of course if you sign up under my links, I'll get a small referral bonus, but ultimately the goal is to help you make money.

The three sites I've already posted are awesome starting points for anyone asking themsevles how I can earn money online. Jingit will give you a debit card you can use to pay for some of these memberships and the money to pay for it as well. Treasure Trooper is another site that doesn't require an investment and is a great starting point. After you get a couple bucks from those, you can then buy a membership to GetBigBuxs. You'll earn your membership back by daily clicking alone, but you are also going to buy rented referrals, which will ensure you get your money back faster.

How can I earn money online? By benefiting from the trial and error, research, and money that I have already spent to get a running start in filling your wallet from the internet. Treasure Trooper is an awesome site that has been paying people for quite sometime. There is no question if they pay only how much you want to make, there is no shortage of offers. My favorite part of the site is the daily surveys. Survey #2 pays out $1 and you are able to complete this once every 24 hours, so take note when you complete it and wait 24 hours. There are a total of 8 Surveys that can be completed every day and the rest are much more forgiving on the time frame in which you take them. If you complete all 8, that is an extra $5.75 every single day! The minimum to cash out is $20, but at that rate you would be able to cash that out about every 4 days.

An added bonus to this site and the surveys specifically is that they award an additional prize on top of your cash reward, they also give Dragon Scales. These are used to purchase supplies for, raise, and breed dragons. You raise your dragon pet through various stages and the best part is that you can actually sell your dragons for real money. They level up and grow as they level, each time they level they are also worth more money when you sell them back. This is actually a fun way to spend those dragon scales you accumulate through daily surveys.

There are tons of other ways to make money on this site they range from a simple email submission, to installing a program and playing a game, to completing a short offer and information submission, and even actual purchases you might make anyway.

Here are a few tips to ensure your daily surveys credit. You should be using firefox for the most part when doing these surveys, then after you complete each one, it is recomended to log out, close firefox, and run Ccleaner. Ccleaner is a program that deletes your cookies easily and quickly, you don't really need it, but since you are going to be clearing your cookies quite often, it will save you tons of time. A few extra bucks a month goes a long ways these days and a lot of them goes even farther. Jingit is an awesome new site that gives you real money for watching short videos online. The videos are just commercials for different products, some of which you have probably already seen on TV. After some of the videos, not all, they will ask you a few simple questions. No right or wrong answer, you are guaranteed credit for the video.

Immediately after signup you are able to get $5 dollars a week, so an extra 20 bucks a month. If you refer your friends you can increase that weekly limit to $10 dollars, an extra 40 bucks a month. When you are ready to use your funds, they offer a unique little debit card through US Bank. As you accumulate money on your account, you can put that money on your Jingit debit card and use it anywhere Visa is accepted, gas, groceries, whatever.

You will need a few things:

A facebook account (with accurate info)
A phone number that can accept texts (covered later)
Your SSN (For the debit card, but it is through US Bank a well known bank, not Jingit.)

You sign into the site with your facebook account and the information on that account has to be accurate to be able to receive payment. They will then ask you to verify a text message and ask for your phone number. For this I just made an account at pinger, they give you a free number that can send and receive text messages, it works fine for this.

Since you can get anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars every week (resets on Sunday), that means you are able to get about a dollar a day.
